| Tooley-1989 (p221) : Mastaba shaft 6LP2. MMA 24.1.1. H.47 cms (plate 58:2). Fine female figure with feet together wearing a 2-strap dress and long hair revealing large carved ears. The modelling of the body is good. On the head is a trapezoid basket supported by the left arm bent at the elbow, the hand straight up. The pendant right hand is pierced, the bird missing. The small round face has a straight nose, a mouth with pouting lower lip, large painted eyes outlined in black, inner canthi marked and straight brows which curve at the outer edges (Lansing 1924, 39, fig. 13). | |
