Tooley-1989 (p.37): Tomb XLV contained one of the largest model groups from Hogarth's work. The tomb consisted of 3 loculi, one above the other. ... and with coffin C were fragments of a model hoeman (BM 45195. Breasted 1948, 6), figures from a bakery (BM 45197) and brewery (BM 45196), also an elongated male figure (BM 45124. Ryan 1988, 72). BM cat: Worn wooden male figure wearing a short wig and kilt; tangs beneath the feet; arms lost. | |
