Tooley-1989 (p7): Mastaba S790 at Giza belonging to ldw II (Junker 1947, 90 ff), with a serdab partially cutting into the mastaba of ldw I on the west side. ... Fragments near the centre of the serdab indicated the presence of single figure models of a baker, brewer (Hildesheim 2520) and 2 pairs (?) of millers (Hildesheim 2521. Breasted 1948, 22; Porter and Moss 1974, 166). ------- Junker (1947, p 92) describes the figure as two women grinding corn [Zwei kornverreibende Frauen.] In this group of early wooden models some of the tools and implements were made from stone | |
