Description
GlobalEgMus web page: Statuette of a brewer stirring mash
The statuette represents a standing man with his pegged arms outstretched one over the other, a fragment of a stick is preserved in the right hand. He wears a short garment and a wig covering his ears. The body is painted red, the whites and the garment are white, the wig, eyebrows, eyelids and pupils are black. This may be an image of a brewer stirring mash in a pot.
Height= 15 (cm)
Note Preservation: The greater part of the stick is lost. The surface is weathered, pigments are partly lost.
